Works with the Tissue Train® System to create linear, tethered 3-D cell-seeded gel constructs and to provide uniaxial cyclic strain to cells in a gel matrix.|
*5% Savings (based on buying 40 plates at the individual price)
- Mix cells in a 3-D collagen gel in a novel Trough Loader™ mold device, allowing cells to attach to collagen fibrils.
- Apply a load regimen of uniaxial cyclic strain to the gel and cells using a Flexcell® Tissue Train® System.
- Matrix bonded nylon mesh or foam anchors for improved cell attachment (see Tech Report 113 for more information on anchor material options).
- Available individually or by the case of 40*.

Tension Test of a Bioartificial Tissue|
A 3D cell-seeded collagen gel created with the Tissue Train® System is subjected to a tensile test until failure. Shown here is the construct within the test grips during testing.
Tissue Train® Trapezoidal Construct under Tension with Corresponding Finite Element Strain Values|
Trapezoidal-shaped 3D cell-seeded gel construct (created with the Flexcell® Tissue Train® System) undergoing unconstrained tension applied with a FX-5000™ Tension System. The strain values, as determined with Finite Element Analysis, are depicted alongside the strained construct.
