Pressure Reservoir
Pressure Reservoir

Our Flexcell® Pressure Reservoir enhances the performance of either your Flexcell® FX-5000™ Tension or Compression system.

The Flexcell® Pressure Reservoir serves two primary roles. One role is that of a system matched volumetric storage device. The other is that of a pneumatic "shock absorber." Whether this device is used in conjunction with a house vacuum source, a stand alone vacuum pump or a positive pressure pneumatic compressor, your system performance is enhanced by the addition of a Flexcell® Pressure Reservoir.

BioFlex® Loading Stations™

Loading Stations Provide equibiaxial strain (uniform radial and circumferential strain) to cells cultured on BioFlex® membranes.
  • Comprised of a Lexan® plate with six individually removable Delrin® planar cylinders (25 mm diameter).
  • Plates are positioned on the BioFlex® baseplate such that each post is centered beneath each 35 mm well of a BioFlex® culture plate, and the cylinder top is flush with the membrane.
  • Larger diameter posts (28 mm and 31 mm) that yield lower strain ranges are available upon request.

FlexStop™ for BioFlex® Loading Stations™

FlexStop A reusable valved rubber stopper that inserts into the underside of a BioFlex® culture plate well to prevent vacuum-induced deformation.
